This SSSI registered local nature reserve is only about 3 miles from Southam at Ufton, on the main A425 heading towards Leamington Spa. Originally formed from old limestone quarrying, it now supports a host of important wildlife species especially butterflies, dragonflies, wild flowers and birds. The site is managed jointly by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Warwickshire County Council.
The reserve is open at all times but the best times to visit are between April and August. Most public access paths are suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Parking is free and there is a small car park off Ufton Fields Lane. Dogs are allowed on leads.
