Here at Napton Cidery we take a very different approach to cider making. We have taken cider right back to it’s roots.
We start with a selection of cider apples which are then crushed using a traditional rack and cloth press.
The Juice is then allowed to cold ferment over the next 6-9 months before being re-racked, blended, and re-racked again.
Once we are happy we seal the cider to mature for a few more months.
Some of our cider goes into old whiskey barrels to mature which brings out a lovely flavour in the cider.
All our perry is also oak aged to give it a great oaky finish.
Give it a go, you’ll be surprised how good real cider tastes.
Made with 100% fresh pressed English apples.
